Alaska State Grange
Convention 2010

This state grange meeting was held at North Pole Grange #6, May 1, 2010. Special guests were Jimmy Gentry, president of the North Carolina State Grange and board member of the National Grange, and his wife, Anita. Anita spoke on the degree rituals of the Grange, and Jimmy addressed broader issues of the Grange and answered questions about the lawsuits over the Grange name.

Elections were held and John Poirrier was elected President of the Alaska State Grange. All the officers will be listed soon on the main page of this site.

Four of the subordinate granges filed reports on their activities either for 2009, or for the time period since the last state meeting, which was held May 2, 2009. The reports will be found with the subordinate grange that filed them, when the webmaster has time to post them.
