
Don McKee Don McKee passed away February 23, 2011 in Yuma Arizona. Don McKee represented the Granges in Alaska for many years at the National Grange Annual Session. Brother Don and his beautiful wife Sister Alice have been recognized as the “royal” family of the Alaska State Grange. The Alaska State Grange considers Don to be a “founding father”. He believed in the precepts of Grange, advocated Grange and lived Grange. He and Alice, over 50 years ago, started Two Rivers Grange #3 and both were instrumental in starting other Granges in Alaska. Don is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Linda, David and Connie, and Donald and Ginger; daughter and son-in-law, Karole and Micky Nelson; daughter-in-law, Yvonne McKee; son-in-law, Jerry Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Jackie McKee; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a multitude of friends. A Memorial service will be April 30, 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Fairbanks.
